A very popular craft in the slums, plastic bottles are used daylight source by just filling them with clear water and placing them on a hole at a house's roof. Call them solar bottle bulbs.

The idea may not be originally Filipino, but through the initiative of Pinoys, fellow countrymen are benefiting from this truly environment-friendly technique.
